Even if you write off everything he says about church cover ups and history alteration as pure fiction it is a fantastic book.

Serge and Katie loved it.... I hope to get around to it soon. Been slammed at work, and still am working on another book.

pornoman 01-26-2004 04:06 PM

Im currently writing my memoirs, so I dont have time to read at the moment..

Joe Sixpack 01-26-2004 04:09 PM

I went and read some reviews at Amazon.com and realised this book is a novel.

No thanks. Fiction bores me.

no wonder you are lacking imagination some what...you have nothing to stimulate it,
pure documentary doesn't give much room for...wondering.

I prefer non-fiction too.

My skepticism/bullshit detector doesn't have an on and off switch. I really need to work on my suspension of disbelief.

KC, M ike,

[Labret] 01-26-2004 09:35 PM

If I wanted someone to lie to me, I would talk to a woman.

You ever tried them at any time?

I picture you freshly arrived in Uhmerica, tail end of disco, dancing your ass off, doing blow and frantically trying to hump fat American girls.

I could never figure out what people find in it...
The only drug I can dig is pot.

I feel sorry for you...finding escape from reality in shrooms...I kinda enjoy my reality to spoil it with hallucigens

All of you non fiction guys, please define non fiction.

I have yet to see, in my life, a book that is completely non fiction.

History is written by the victors, Biographies are written to glorify or vilify the subject, Politics is 100% opinion, Religion is mind control.

Looking to only read non fiction would leave one reading the time and temperatue at the local bank.

Some people can't tell the difference between a chair and a couch either, especially if it's a small couch or a big chair. I prefer to just get along with the rest of the humans and pretend I don't realize this. ;-)
