Peaches 12-28-2003 07:22 PM

Colin or Sarettah did a poll once here and on GFY - I can't remember the actual results, but yes - we're the old fogies here. :P

shawcutie 12-28-2003 07:58 PM

I think we're talking about the average. :awinky: And since Confucy's 62....well, that helps bring the average up even with the "youngsters" who post, like my son. :)

TheEnforcer 12-29-2003 12:38 AM

Hehehe.. we're old farts here!! :P

MarinersFan 12-29-2003 01:31 AM

Well I may be the "old man" here ...

I am used to working with guys half my age on the Web.

It's nice to have a few other "old foggies" around. ;-)

Carrie 12-29-2003 02:12 AM

Been 33 for a couple of months now... hell I'll take "young" as a compliment considering how I've been feeling lately!

I hear ya Carrie - I hit the big 3-4 this year and it's sad... they don't even "mercy card me" at the stores anymore like they used to... I guess they figure I realize I'm "old" now anyway, so why insult me. lol

Welcome to the Old Foggies Board! :okthumb:

Dravyk 12-29-2003 05:21 AM

Look at all the whipper-snappers! :P

mojobill 12-29-2003 06:18 AM

When the first number in your age is a 5.. then you start feeling 'old' ;)

Only after I'm gone...

sarah_webinc 12-29-2003 07:26 AM

I am only just 27 so I am bellow the average but it does feel like the grown up's table.

Pornwolf 12-29-2003 07:38 AM

Definitely feels more mature over here. I'm 28.

Yeh, when you get a "6" you are just starting to live again :rokk:

At 63, I'm either helping or severely hurting the average; keep in mind, aged booze/wine is better than young stuff!

Buff 12-29-2003 10:16 AM

I've never felt so gratified at being 32 as I did after reading this thread. ;)

Hooper 12-29-2003 10:43 AM

i'm 27

but i'd bet with guys like serge, webfather, general, torone et al posting here that the average gets pulled up to at least 40.

although i'd agree that the median is around 30.

PornoDoggy 12-29-2003 11:42 AM

True enough ... especially considering how often I was wasted when I was young. :stout: :D :hic:

kath 12-29-2003 01:33 PM

Another thing to consider - the feeling of being at the "grown-ups table" that we all share here.... age isn't always just measured in years - but in maturity.

I'll take the maturity level of Oprano - regardless of average age - over the adolescent sophomoric morons on "that other board" any day! :okthumb:
