My resolution:

I won't intentionally kill anyone.

ulfie 12-26-2003 08:44 AM

I'm not big into resolutions but I am making some lifestyle changes. After 2 years of working out of the house I'm looking to get an actual office. I think I have something lined up but I'll know next week for sure. Too many distractions in your own house to work there effeciently imho.

Definately going to ski more this year. That is my winter passion. Last year I spent more time in the bar than I did on the slopes but I'm not going to do that this year.

I'm going to get my golf game straightened out this year. I played horrible last year. I lost about 70 pounds in a year and while I thought my game would get better it actually got worse. I think I was used to swinging around my gut and when I didn't have one anymore it messed up my swing.

I know no one cares about any of this stuff but by posting it on a public board it puts some pressure on me to actually do it. There is a method to my madness. :)

Peaches 12-26-2003 09:19 AM

I WILL lose 40 pounds in 2004 (and not the same 10 pounds 4 different times :P ). I'd really like to lose 50, but I'm trying to be realistic. <_<

You could caddy for me. Walking 6 miles carrying 40 pounds of clubs is a good workout. :)

Brad Xtremepay 12-26-2003 10:22 AM

I plan on sleeping in more. :P

My resolution for next year is to have a good sized down paypayment and buy my first house.

I already quit smoking cigarettes a few weeks ago so that's good. I feel better about that.

Hooper 12-26-2003 04:38 PM

my resolution is to spend more time with my family and less time at work but make more money for 04.

I'm 140kg now.. I aim to be 100kg by the end of the year.
If you're willing to bet me $1000, I'm in.
Dunno if 40kg's is 100lbs.

Rolo 12-26-2003 06:24 PM

100lbs is 45.36 kgs

I say go for it :okthumb:

Cassie 12-27-2003 09:56 AM

resolutions remind me of religion and thats not good. if im gonna do something, then im gonna do it and not because i have a dependent need to cling to something.

if youre going to do something.....just do it. if not, then its wasted breath :)

gigi 12-28-2003 09:44 AM

That's a good link Sharpie...I enjoyed it! :)

Torone 12-29-2003 08:18 AM

I don't make resolutions. I'm good all year long ;-)

Happy New Year, all.

Anyone who is going to be in Vegas -- see ya there.

Dianna Vesta 12-30-2003 10:17 AM

Make more money in less time.
Have more sex
Date more

lol- all in that order!

kath 12-30-2003 11:05 AM

Good resolutions guys!

I don't have any either... resolutions are bygone promises to yourself - easy to make, easier to break. Anything I'm going to do to improve/change my life in '04 will be done through sheer willpower and personal drive.

That said I hope everyone has a great New Year and I hope to see many of you in Vegas - even if hell has frozen over! :yowsa:

I don't agree with that. Depends on the person. I set goals every year and not only hope to acheive them but surpass them. I have a big list for next year, some are frivolous like the ones I listed earlier in this thread. The business ones will remain private.

How can you build a path to success if you don't know where you want to go?
