Look, him not endorsing Liberman shows to me that:
1) either he didn't beleive from the start that Lieberman is good to be a President and misled the country 4 years ago or 2) he is a whore with no loyalties |
All politicians are whores.....
And loyalties among politicians are as tenuous as loyalties among the adult internet cmmunity...... :awinky: |

OR, he realizes his recommendation is poison and he realized he was actually helping Lieberman. :P

I provided plenty to Dan, borrow some.... ;-)))) |
I would need blinders to see what you see.
There's nothing here ... you are making something out of nothing. Gore is a politician. He picked Lieberman as his running mate in 2000 for some of the same reasons that Bush picked Chenyburton. The fact that he endorses someone else four years later has nothing to do with either Lieberman's competency to be President nor his so-called loyalties. |

I can't find a rhyme for "Loyalty free in 2003"? ;-))))) |
As a matter of political expediency he picked him as his Vice Presidential running mate - he didn't marry him.
This year he is endorsing someone else. Whoopty fucking doo. Now ... if somehow Lieberman wins the nomination and Gore refuses to endorse him or campaign for him, then you'll have something to talk about. |

and Gore is a whore along with Dean. |
Not sure WHAT the hell you're talking about with the "unlike me" remark ... I can talk about it as often as I want. The problem is, there ain't nothing here to talk about.
Gore is a whore. Bush is a whore. Dean is a whore. Cheney is a whore. All politicians be whores. That's about as newsworthy as dog bites postman, Nick goes to Krispy Kreme, or Torone believes it is part of the demacommie conspiracy. I'm not a fan of Dean. I'm not particularly a fan of Gore, although I would have prefered Gore to Bush. If I end up in a voting booth facing the choice between Dean and Bush, I may just write in a vote for the same guy I as when my choice was McGovern v Nixon - because even dead, Harry Truman could do a better job than either of them. |

Maybe ... but most of the time what I see happening is people saying "when my guy does that it's for the good of baseballapplepiesmomand chevrolet, western civiilization and the fate of the cosmos; when the other guy does it it's selling out or whoring." Like this thread. |

But do you know how many peopel prefaced "I'm going to vote for Nixon" with words to the effect of "I hate that sonofabitch, but ..."? They did the same thing with Johnson 8 years before. Now ... the question is, can Bush paint Dean as effectively as Nixon painted McGovern? |
Liberman should be hammering Dean with the line...
" If Dean had his way, Saddam would still be President of Iraq, and the murder, rape, and genocide would have continued" |

Not a chance Different world, different times But the Dems still don't have a serious viable candidate IMNSHO Could this be the election of the 3rd party? - not likely but interesting I've started to wonder how much could a serious, well run Internet campaign for President effect the election Can you say mass emailing? - cost-effective campaign for Pres, you could reach the masses |
Quite honestly I think it came down to policy. Gore never saw eye to eye with Lieberman because lieberman was a rare Democrat. Fiscally liberal (somewhat) but socially VERY conservative.
He is VERY religious. And not pro business enough to get away with that stance. I am positive Gore new a president like Lieberman would be almost no different then Bush. Especially in his foreign relations policy. |
Gore has party loyalty and it should be pretty obvious that Liebermann has no chance of winning, whereas Dean has a very good chance of beating Bush.
