"There are three kinds of lies: lies, damn lies, and statistics."

7...yeah, that would be about a 31% rise in attendance....

I wonder if they'll be partaking in the various lapdances and other assorted debauchery?

Toolz 11-20-2003 11:46 AM

*cough* bullshit

Anyone seen the list of parties that are taking place this year? That's a good enough indicator that this show will be signficantly smaller than past shows. Even the parties that are happening, save for the Gameworks one, require 15 sponsors, is that really effective? What's the point?

the point is very simple...
a year ago they fucked with Billy and Oprano listing...
this year they suck dick..
I think it's very obvious "cause and effect" point

Exactly!!!

AVN has NO credibility. They are NOT a news company, they are a MARKETING company. In this case they are marketing their show!!

They will tell you whatever they think to trick people to attend the show...

I am going regardless, but I have no doubt it will be the smallest show we have seen in the past 3+ years....

AVN continues to be a bunch of Cockholsters!

Peaches 11-20-2003 11:59 AM

I wouldn't be surprised if the list of attendees is up. The economy is down and there are a lot of people grasping at straws and even more "beer money" webmasters who probably think attending this show is the secret to making the big $$$.

They pool their money, four of them share a room at Harrahs, they eat and drink for free and grab some "really cool" freebies at the show they can take back and show their friends. :headwall:

Peaches, I think you are on to something.

If the show does increase attendees, it is probably more newbies than anything.

I like newbies, they need hosting and stuff :cdance:

wig 11-20-2003 12:42 PM

Dan :okthumb:

You have a larger target audience than I do. :rokk:

Peaches will be there to push our wares and we hope to have three new things to promote by showtime!

Toolz 11-20-2003 01:29 PM

What about the second comment in there Mike, 15 companies sponsoring a party, is there any real point to that?

I'm pleased to announce that with the lack of parties the back corner of Cheetah's will be rockin full force with the boys.

You know where to find me Toolz!!

Though I hear we need to hit some of the full nude clubs to find the 18-20 year old ones. Those are the ones I like best.

I've heared a rumor my friend Yanna has moved over to Treasures, just won't be the same without her at the big C.

BradShaw 11-20-2003 04:15 PM

Found out today it was not the flu, rather H Pylori. Talk about pain! Reminds me of the good ole tylenol 4 or twisted colon.

I guess it is contracted from food, water, dirty places. I blame cheetahs!
