40 Dead in Car Bomb Blasts in Bombay VOA News 25 Aug 2003, 13:28 UTC Indian authorities say at least two bomb blasts have rocked the country's financial capital, Bombay (also known as Mumbai), killing more than 40 people and injuring more than 100 others. Both blasts occurred in southern Bombay - one near the historic Gateway of India monument, a popular tourist site, and the other, just minutes later, near the Zaveri Bazaar, a crowded jewelry marketplace. Reports from the scene indicate the bombs were planted in two taxicabs. There has been no claim of responsibility. In the past, India has blamed such incidents on Pakistan-backed Islamic militants. Monday, Islamabad quickly condemned the deadly bombings as an act of terror. The explosions came just hours after a government report said the remains of a Hindu temple have been found under the foundations of a mosque in the northern town of Ayodhya, razed by Hindu extremists in 1992. Hindus claimed that the 16th century mosque was built by razing a temple to their god Rama. The destruction caused Hindu-Muslim riots that killed two thousand people |
Just another example of a "peaceful" group of Muslims... <_<

Ever since I saw it, the thread title has been going through my head to the tune of "One Night in Bankok " AND I CAN'T MAKE IT STOP!!!! |
The Indians deserve it because of their support of Israel, global ambitions, and Middle Eastern policy.
