Caught this redfish this morning. Fish weighed 25 lbs, was 34 inchs - Caught with 10lb line ( which for those who do not fish, is VERY light and more of a challenge).

Took me 20 minutes to fight it, it spooled my line all 100 yards.... was a team effort. Fish ran to some pilings, Tim went out made sure the line did not rub up against it and brake. Katie moved boat around and TIm netted it!

Heading back down tommrow for a few days.... hope fishing stays HOT! ( also caught 15 specled trout, 2 flounder)

Reds are great eating. Ever heard of "Blackend RedFish?" was a famous dish for awhile.... so famous they eventually had to put limits on how many reds you can keep.

This size though is not best for eating, they tend to get tougher.... the best sizes are from 16-23 inchs or so....

But nevertheless this guy will be consumed! :D

I went fishing yesterday about 15 offshore of Cocoa Beach. Caught 2 kings and a Mahi. Pefect water - 1 footers and glossy.

Jesse offshore fishing is great, especially when weather co-operates.

Mahi are fun and tasty fish!

We are heading back for a few more days of fishing... going to see if we can put Brad onto some fish.

Just got home from the camp, had a great time with Mike and fisherman Brad !
