I'm now officially part of the Oprano team and ready to try and make a few waves!

Why "The buck starts here" topic title? Well, outlines for a couple of innovative new traffic generation programs are being looked at right now by the team - and we have more content, sections and money making plans for Oprano webmasters on the drawing board - so yes, hopefully, by being Oprano members you *will* see a good increase in dollar earning capacity!

I know - the adult biz is not the same as 1996/97 or even 98/99 - but there are new opportunities on the way and I see a second wave coming soon - revenues may be down for some - but that's caused as much by (I suspect) Visa/MC as much as by a prevalance of free porn - the like of which we never saw in this quantity pre 2000.

So how do you combat the free porn? Maybe have much better porn, at a price? Stop the free porn somehow? Or what?

How do you combat the Visa/MC cartel and their impositions? Find other billing options - some new ones of which are coming on line in Europe and will in the US soon - verifying over 18 *may* remain a problem - but with digital signatures -I think ID verification will be built in soon - thus proving age too.

Anyway - maybe you can tell - I am quite optimistic about the times I find myself in on the net right now - I had three years of fun and hard slog in pubs, hotels and restaurants - and in a curious way I think I may have learned from some seasoned professionals even better ways to run promotions (or programs).

So please watch this space - and think about any sites you have that you'd like to beta test on our new ideas when they are ready - we want to thoroughly test them to bring them to you in the most effective way.

We got stung - we had a huge takeup - but over 80% of checks bounced - even after we did a basic credit check. There is room in that business certainly - but you need deep pockets to compete...

Nice to see you around. I too am very optimistic about the industry. Thre's plenty of room for explosive incomes, creativity, novelty, and other madness.

I have seen a sneak peak of some of the things Robin is working on, and I have to say I am pretty excited about it.

The way things are going, with every sponsor and his mother offering hosted galleries, you'll stop posting to TGP's, alright. Not because you want to, but because they won't take your submissions anymore. <_<
