If LikeWhoa is reading this, then I would suggest to do some public damage control... The best thing you can do, when major problems start is to have someone explain EVERYTHING which is going on - even if there are "no news", then that is still news to your clients.
Ex. Epoch did very well, when they were hit with problems, and Rand started his daily e-mail to all clients. Made the clients more calm, that someone at the company still was working at solving the problem. Epoch did one of the best comebacks ever in the industry :-) Right now the silence from LikeWhoa is getting VERY loud, and the notarized authorized letter to switch hosts are probably in the making at alot of companies/webmasters, who are worried about their business staying online. rolo, likewhoa is trying to explain the situation, unfortunatly they are down so they canīt connect to the net anymore.
|
Then I will suggest that they find a Internet Cafe in New York:

Funkmaster, Stan is a good guy, I know him since his first steps on the net, we did some brisk business together back in a day and PLEASE separate Stan from LW and Nick... |
Stan is a great guy with some of the best programmers going. He has opened up a new company and we have ordered in some of his software. His free hosting software and affiliate program are probably the two best of their kind out on the market at the moment.

Looks like Oprano sponsor, Candid is going to try to buy LikeWhoa out, or at least pay their bills to get their customers....
Would be nice to see if it all works out for the people getting the shaft!! |

I wonder if somebody not gonna press the criminal charges, that's gonna be fun if they do ;-))) |

By his proggie put him out of business is that due to money owed in payouts or the actual sofwtare itself? We are actually buying the software for use with our program. The back end and overall functions and stability looked better than anything else we have seen. Your help Serge is greatly appreciated. :rokk: |

Your help Serge is greatly appreciated. :rokk:
I can't answer your question fully, Cyberglide had problems with the software he bought for 25k from Likewhoa... |

Cyberglide had problems with the software he bought for 25k from Likewhoa...
With the price you mentioned it is what I thought. We were looking at software. If he has had problems then that has thrown a spanner in the long term focus of our ideas......ok back to the drawing board! |
Things just took another twist:
"Nick and Company came in last night with drills, drilled the cages open and stole all the servers back, and it's completely out of their hands now." http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showthread.p...threadid=140792 This is about the time that every person who have had their fingerprints at the datacenter makes a statement (ex. Stan)... |

the ugly duckling will get even more uglier...and I don't see what they have to lose if they do. |
I suspect alot of companies owned their own servers, and that LikeWhoa simply was hosting them. Did LikeWhoa also take those? And why have LikeWhoa not said where exactly they are taking those servers?
I think that criminal charges will come from alot of their clients, if the clients do not hear that their servers are safe, and where exactly they can find them. Criminal charges from their former datacenter will be made, if they have really drilled the cages open. And I think they will meantion everyone who have had access to the datacenter - including former employees of LikeWhoa. Also Iīm not sure that anyone really knows who is who... alot of the people who recently left the company still carries the LikeWhoa "stigmata". This could cause alot of problems down the road for them and the people they are doing business with now, if things continue to get worse. Just because you do not work there anymore doesnīt make your "data sheet" clean. Last edited by Rolo at Jun 7 2003, 02:30 PM |
