How many people actually use this so far? and what are your thoughts on it?

We just added it today, and are all setup, and it seems pretty damn easy to impliment and start paying people right away..

comments on epassporte?

I have been trying to bait KK to my board for info on epassporte for weeks now.

I guess she is just too busy.

You know, I would like a good explaination of what exactly it is, the benefits..... How can it help me....

Ive just applied to add it in on a couple of things too. Looks great if your selling content, streaming video or have a webcam set up.

Not to beat the dead horse...but there needs to be a catalyst to get it in the hands of the users as opposed to the b2b aspect for webmaster to webmaster.

She swears shes gonna get it out of diapers and off the bottle soon.

I don't use it yet, but will soon. The idea is great, it just needs some kinks worked out.

Rand is actually the best person to talk to for information to be honest. KimmyKim has a lot of information to offer but (The last time I talked with her) wasn't up on the most recent changes/implimentations/limitations. Rand was great and very forthcoming. (Not that KimmyKim's information wasn't wonderful and enlightening and whatnot).

Epassporte is worth a look for sure.

Next off, if you have a question about ePassporte, you certainly can ask anyone you want to, and the system is still in development, so things do change very rapidly. As for up to date information, I talk to the owners every day.

Michael... eP is alot of things.

It's a competitive system to Paypal, and can be used to take money in or pay money out. It's still new so it doesn't have all the features of Paypal, but we do take adult. Actually we love adult.

eP comes standard with an instant Virtual Visa with EVERY account, there is no waiting period like some other systems, there is no qualifying in order to get the Visa, once again, unlike other systems.

eP also offers a hard card, the Visa Electron. When end users opt to get the cards, they are then able to use them at ATMs worldwide, and at technically compliant POS terminals as well.

Using the peer transfer features you can accept eP for payments to your website, currently for non recurring transactions, though that is going to change soon, and you will be able to do subscription based transactions.

If it is done right, it could be a webmaster's wet dream. The adult industry really needs something like it.

Getting it into the hands of the endusers WOULD be the most important step. I'm envisioning two things...
An affiliate program
A liason with brick-and-mortar adult
Something like an AVS network; but only accepting ePassporte

Consumers are definitely important to ePassporte -- but also bear in mind that it took Paypal 3 years + and the help of Ebay to garner their membership base.

There is a long term marketing strategy in place for eP, since this is going to be a very long term product for everyone involved in it. By starting with what we know, which is you guys - we are moving distribution along as well as getting input and feedback on what is good and bad about the way the system is set up, how it handles different things, and what you think it lacks.

Ebay and the auctions did help paypal to grow in those years, but I also think that $5.00 deal did help alot too.

Agreed, before they banned adult sites from doing it a lot of people were sending people to Paypal to make the $5 referral so Paypal got a lot of exposure in the early days by giving away $5 at a time. They probably lost a mint but gained priceless exposure from it.

So KK what would you recomend for a webmaster program?

I understand you can pay webmasters with EPassporte. There are some advantages....

But is it worth setting up for processing? Is there enough market penetration?

Can you use the physical card to buy things online, or at a resturant like a VISA card? Or is it only for ATMs?

For ATMs? What is the daily limit? Can that be adjusted?

Personally I think that the more ways you have to take money in and the more ways you have to pay your affiliates, the more competitive you are on both sides of the program game. Affiliates who are non-US, or do relatively small sales volume absolutely love it -- they don't have to wait on a check or pay a fee to cash a US check in their country. You can schedule the payouts for any cycle you like, it's an API you use to tell us who, how much, and then you hit a button and we pay them pretty much.

The Virtual Visa can be used online for anything, at any place they accept Visa... Southwest Airlines, Amazon.com, Victorias Secret ;) , etc...

The Electron card can be used at pretty much any ATM worldwide, and can be used at POS terminals with up to date software. And yes, I know that sounds like I'm dodging a bit on the purchasing, but there are a few things that are in transition so to speak and Mallick will call me yelling if I mention them right now... but as soon as I can I will tell you guys.

For inbound transactions from consumers, right now it can only be used for non-recurring transactions (emphasis on right now) and deliverable goods. Do I have 27 million users like Paypal? Not yet. But unlike Paypal we do take, encourage actually, adult. The reseller program will be live soon (emphasis on soon) at which point it will be even more enticing for webmasters to put it on their sites. There should be some very strong creatives and marketing tools to go with the reseller launch as well.

As far as setting it up to use, it's really quite simple, I think that a technical dunce like myself could probably manage it using some of the online verification features instead of the scripted ones ;)

The daily withdrawal limit is $300 but that can be adjusted, yes. If it's an issue and you need it adjusted, just let me know.
