Literally, no. I believe that the Romans killed Jesus. Jews don't crucify people.

Figuratively, by staying Jewish and resisting Christian claims for the divinity and Messiahship of Jesus, we Jews crucify Jesus anew each day in our unbelief, which I am down with.

How do you know Jesus was crucified?

I'm speaking on a figurative level. Christianity holds that Jesus is the world's savior. Jesus was a Jew yet we reject Xtianity's claims for him.

Is "the savior" equal "the hope", in religions who see the world as potential evil?

If God created the world - why is it potential evil?

Did God create evil, so we could see when things are good?

Is it when we know the difference between evil and good that we can be saved?

So why would God ever need to send a physical savior, when the battle between evil and good is inside ourself, and we just need "hope" that someday we will be saved by enlightenment?
