Dining together on the ranch in nearby Crawford, the Bushes and Howards had smoked beef tenderloin, grilled okra and green chili cheese grits -- the last item a Bush favorite.
poor howard, i hope he was polite when he choked on chili cheese grits

not one of america's greatest dishes
:biglaugh:

Forest, I do not think CJ was to happy about Australia being in the war.... I think she is part of the appeasement crowd...

I'm pretty sure I remember CJ saying she supported the war.

Mike AI 05-04-2003 12:30 PM

Colin she said she did support the war, but she thought it should not have happened, that Bush was a cowboy forcing the issue....

Of course I could be wrong, I am sure she will post her stance....

JR, I don't remember ever eating ocra, but it doesn't sound pleasant ...

the entire concept of grits still has me confused. its just slop!

the only time i've ever eaten it was at denny's ... which might have something to do with my dislike for it

Mike ..... we've been here already, and you still haven't learned to read .... so :ttth!:
