people toppling the statues of Saddam is quite convincing to me that they were lied by their media about Saddam and the entire war...

Lots of other Arabs live under Tyrants like Saddam... think they will say whatever their Tyrants tell them too...

But seeing how the Iraqi people react after 25 years of a tyrant like Saddam might get some other Arabs too follow...

they will still say we are wrong

brain washing has been the national pastime in some of these coutries

not only by the government but now by the media there

fair and balanced news they are not :salute:

Hmmm. They might continue with their current path and try to get attacked so they can be liberated too. It's all an Arab plot for freedom!

Different circumstances, but it's reminiscent of the Berlin Wall coming down.

How long until the first piece of that statue appears for sale on eBay?

on ebay...
I was also wondering that. I did a quick search http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...&category=36074 is all I found. not a piece of the real statues but its funny nontheless.

I would love to have a piece of the saddam on the horse statue just for historys sake.

I cant believe all this went down today. The pictures being broadcast all over the arab world of those people in paradise square with the troops pulling that statue down is awesome to say the least. Im almost without words.

We got to watch history. Did remind me of the fall of the Berlin wall!!

I was thinking that having a peice of a saddam statue would be a nice keep sake. Will keep scanning Ebay!! Could be a good program to start getting Iraq on its feet - selling old Saddam shit on e-bay!!
