Just saw a bunch of dickhead green voting, anti-war mongering, pro-oppression, saddam hussein loving, protestors trying to disrupt the departure of one of our navy ship's, they tried to board her and even laid a massive underwater cable/rope accross the habour to try & foul up & damage the ship's propellors!!! grrrr...!!!!
http://news.ninemsn.com.au/National/story_47469.asp I did something two weeks ago on the spur of the momment, these protestors conducted a 'die-in' at the navy base my sister's fiance is an officer stationed at .... the base is on one of our main roads and at the sight of this during peak hour traffic I wound down my window as I was driving slowly and yelled at the top of my lungs "why don't you f*ck off, dead beats!" I like many have had enough of the dickhead protestors antic's! they better hope we don't meet anytime soon! ---- "(The protesters) have absolutely no regard for the feelings of the sailors or the families. It's their day, it doesn't belong to anybody other than them," Mr Howard told Sydney radio 2UE. A Navy spokesman said the protest was unfortunate for the families of the sailors, Meanwhile, furious police said the demonstrators had strung a cable across the warship's path. "They were trying to foul the screws of the warship, in other words have the rope go around the propellers of the warship," NSW Marine Police Commander Grahame Welsh said. "It was more than dangerous, it was extremely dangerous." Last edited by meatloaf at Apr 8 2003, 05:37 AM |
"Prime Minister John Howard later condemned the Greenpeace protesters as clowns"
I'm gonna stage an anti-Greenpeace protest. Anyone want to come? |

What upsets me, is on the send off for the sailors who are going to patrol the gulf waters, the family members, mothers, sisters, daughters, aunts & grandmothers who are sad & crying, an emotional send off like many before...
... then these clowns slam them right in the face with their actions! delibertly targeting the ship & trying to disable her. the families watch the news, if they were worried before, what will this do. When I saw that I really, really, really got upset! grrrrr ! ! ! |
i'll be voting with both my feet, my left & my right hand.
if i see an anti-war placarde on the street I'll put it fair up their clacker! |
meatloaf, as a rule of thumb,
the less educated people are, the more they protest... |
BIG END FIRST! :(
|
you said it.
Now I know which political parties I will never vote for again. Not like I would have voted for them before anyway. |
What I saw today was worst then the vietnam veterans getting abused & spat on. and I'm very embarrased & sorry that happened to the vietnam vets.

I understand the supplies they were trying to interdict were not for our military; but were humanitarian supplies for the people of Iraq...

torone ... she is a missle frigate, bound for the gulf to replace the Darwin & Anzac frigates (the Anzac provided fire for british soliders on the AL FAW penisula) who have been providing support for the coalition. Our ships normally patrol the region for smugglers coming out of iraq.

Even the French had the balls to knock out Greenpeace - they sunk one of their boats the Rainbow Warrior I beleive....
Interesting article, even the Liberals in San Fran are for the war! http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/artic...3-2003Apr8.html |

Even a peacenik like myself finds greenpeace a bunch of fucking idiots...I'll defend anyone's right to protest, but that right ends at physical intimidation...
|
I didn't mind the big peace marches, or even people putting leaflets on notice boards, but like everything they need to get the balance.
The anti-war protestors have now come out to condem some of green peaces actions. But it sticks to all of them, they have really done their 'cause' a great justice. It is great seeing all the Iraqi people now coming out & celebrating their freedom. seeing the kids smiling & being cheeky with the liberators. many of these people have never known the freedom we all enjoy. |
I believe that many of the middle eastern countries are pissed off & concerned that if Iraq becomes a democratic nation, with the freedoms of the west plus strengthened by her oil wealth, many of these countries & their semi or fully oppresive regimes may face great threats from within their countries. People will see what the iraqi's have & they may want it.
Call me unrealistic, but it could happen. Most of these regimes would fall if their populations turned against them. Saudi Arabia, Iran, Lebannon, Syria. |
