Is there a legal defintion in the US for "hardcore" or is it based on the standards of the area? i.e. when a TV show/movie/etc. goes from softcore porn to hardcore porn, are there certain acts that are LEGALLY hardcore like penetration, or is it just a rule of thumb (so to speak :awinky: )?

Well if you put in a thumb and pull out a plum .....

actaully to the best of my limited knowledge is it determined by community standards, but you can pretty much count on all insertion type images to be hardcore

and if you use an apple that is known as apple core

What if it's a soft apple??

I was afraid that it was "community standards" - I'm trying to win an argument with someone and I said there were laws regulating what hardcore was. :( I guess I should know my own industry before I start spouting off my mouth. :awinky:

This is my understanding of hardcore, Peaches:

Mouth-to-genital
Hand-to-genital
genital-to-genital
or anything anal

Any contact containing one of the above.

Ergo, oral sex, anal, penetration with fingers, etc.

Simulated hardcore is where there is no penetration, just the act is insinuated. I have two different sections on my site for hardcore and simulated hardcore.

That's pretty much my understanding too, Heather. I just wish it was legally written that it's that way so that I don't have to buy dinner :awinky:

Try writing to this guy:

adultlawATyahoo.com

His name is Rick Chapo. I think he will probably be willing to settle a bet for you.

He was doing some legal work for me a couple of years back and also helped out Ynot.
