Awwww balls! You've started to talk about something which I have to add my two pence (cents) to, so here goes nothing.

For those of you who don't know me, my name is Jeremy and I webmaster Richard's Realm for Richard, dealing with the day-today running, the advertising and managing the Review Team etc. I've been around and about working on the Realm since Jan 1997 and having known Richard since we were about 8 I was pretty much there when he first set the site up way back in March 1996.

I also deal with all the sales aspects of our content site: http://www.adultcontent.co.uk/ which sells sets and (even if I do say so myself) rather good quality image and video plugins.

There's quite a few people around here who I know and quite a few of you also know Richard of old, possibly from the YNOT days - Mike AI, if memory serves, you & Richard had an old school link exchange going back in the days of yore?

Winetalk.com 02-12-2003 02:10 PM

Richard, does name NightLifer ring a bell to you?

Menace 02-12-2003 02:56 PM

Nightlifer.. THAT's a name I haven't heard in a while..

How is he Serge?

Welcome Jeremy :)

Nickatilynx 02-12-2003 02:57 PM

Nightlifer? Haven't heard from him in 4 yrs maybe

gigi 02-12-2003 03:10 PM

Hey Jeremy!

Are you following me? teehee

Nice to see you here!!

Rolo 02-12-2003 03:51 PM

Welcome Jeremy :bwave:

Jeremy-RR 02-13-2003 04:16 AM

Thanks for the welcome guys :-)

Nick: Wotcha geezer ;-) I was sorry to read about your divorce from Anthony. I hope it was an amicable split and if you're still in touch with him, pass on my best wishes.

KK: LOL - every now and again I pop my head above the parapet ;-) That's an interesting proggie you launched the other day....

Serge: That name doesn't mean anything to me, but I only really started reading the boards back in late 97 / 98 (before that I used to get some work done). I mentioned the name Nightlifer to Richard and he said it rang a bell cut couldn't place the name. Drop him a line at richard at richards-realm.com if you want to jog his aged memory a bit.

Hi back to you Menace, Rolo & Gigi:-))

Anthony 02-13-2003 05:00 AM

Divorce? What divorce you wanker?! :D We weren't married, we only played a couple on TV. :P

Good to see ya here Jeremy!

Jeremy,
how is linking business now a days?
(NightLifer used to be as big as PK back in 1995-1996 ;-)

That's why his name rings a bell
;-))

Jeremy-RR 02-13-2003 09:57 AM

LOL Anthony. I see Nick has taught you to use some Brit words. Good to see you mate :)

Serge: The Links side of the biz just keeps trundling and trundling along, it's a question of tweaking and really maximising the model at the moment although there are a few changes in the pipeline.

Once thing I'm fairly certain of is that in the coming year it's going to be a lot harder for newbs to get traffic from the big sites.

PK was one of four sites that listed Richard's first page of 20 links and a pic of a woman with big tits on back in 1996 (Thanks PK). She's the only one of them still around as far as I know.

I can't agree more....business changes rapidly and those who can't adapt,
will be extinct...

Let's hope I can bring MUSIC to the market place to save us all
;-)))

Hey Jeremy! Welcome to the gumbo....

Yeah I think we did a lot of work with RR back in the day.... Stan the Man handled those things, so he would recall the details.

Good to have another old schooler around!!
