I am in the process of patenting urination, and have pending hearings on breathing, systolic blood pressure readings, and various gastro intestinal functions.
Also heading into court to patent baseball, football and badmitton. So be weary this fourth of july, if you break out the birdies, you are getting a C &D |
This is good... great, as a matter of fact.
It points out the stupidity of the patent process for computer issues, especially those that have to do with appearance only. Microsoft frontpage has offered a frames option for more than 7 years now, including the fixed frame option discussed in the piece. The patent should not exist - a frames is neither new nor is it non-obvious. Get one of these things to fall bigtime, and the rest of them will be easy to pull apart, because then you have proof that the patent office failed to do it work. Alex |
Yeah - what IS next?
I have to agree with you Alex - if they keep up with stuff like this then it will totally set a precedent in the courts. Hopefully every stupid patent case like this will then be seen as just another attempt to patent something they have no right to patent. Hmmmm...what would mainstream do if we patented everything WE ever came up with? Where would they be today? :nyanya: Whatever happened to the hyperlinks patent? I hadn't heard anything more on that one. What a whacked idea that one was.... |
I would just like you all to know that I have applied for a patent for use of the letters I and U. Any use of these letters are now strictly prohibited without express permission from me, and a $500 monthly recurring fee.

I wonder if AskJeeves got one of those C&D's....haha....although my guess is they are going after the smaller co's first to attempt to set precedent...would be interesting to see a list of those who received one...

Grimm, the process of urination is bad for your health according to American Heart Assosiation :)
|
I see that they got their first patent in 99, will be interesting to see what their initial use date is on their claim.
I remember struggling with frames well before 99, of course that struggle along with a few others is what led me to go into the marketing side of the business ;) |
KK, dont feel bad, after 6 years i still dont know how to make frames

So sorry, the patent on fucking is mine, you're all up shit creek... and before you even think about it, I own the patent on paddles too.

Whew! I guess it's a good thing I never did bother to learn how to do frame! B)

Well, sorry everyone, but I have the patent on "patent", thus you all own me a ton of money.
Now cut it out! :yowsa: Alex |
Seeing all these claims on patents I put in a call to the crack legal team of Dewey, Cheatum and Howe
To see if a problem performing a patented process, if the preferred patent holders would be punitively punishable i.e. If I got fucked while I was screwing or screwed while I was fucking or fucked while fucking or screwed while screwing However it did come to mind that I might be in violation of various patent holders rights in the fucked while screwing or screwed while fucking scenarios |
