damn this video can make you cry.

when did Johnny Cash turn into a very old man?

It's reality. So few in this hateful world of get before you're gotten
realize that we are only in it for a very short time at best. We each
have a choice of how we spend our time here. It's too bad so many
spend it poorly.

The fact of life is simple, don't take it too seriously or compare your
worthyness to any one example- not one us get out of it alive.

Johnny Cash looks more like a skeleton than anything else. But I
remember the first time I saw him he looked old, that was at least
35 years ago.

Time move's quickly, the older you get the faster it goes.

unless you are listening to his version of U2's 'One' and then time moves really really slowly.

...and don't forget when he sang "13" written by Glen Danzig

This is why I've done extensive research and almost have conclusive proof that Johnny Cash is god...or a reasonable fascimile...

Johnny's better days are behind him but his music will always live on. I was lucky enough to see one of his last live performances before the onset of his illness caued him to hang it up touring-wise...and I was amazed at the number of mohawks and rocker types mixed in with the blue hairs, high rollers, low rollers, trailer folk, mansion people and even a G or 2....Johnny Cash could get the same reaction in front of an audience at the Grand Ole Opry as he could opening for Slipknot (oh how I would love to see that).

If what I have heard is correct, he's damned luck to still be around. I understand that he used to be a trained, active spook.
