we just saw 9 Queens on DVD,
Argentinian movie with English subtitles,
if you like the Sting,
THIS one is a MUST!

you don't know what happens 'till the very last moment!
;-)))

10 on 10 scale

Just put it on my Netflix list - thanks :) Right now I'm getting ready to watch Amelie. Watched Bandits and Frailty last week and was pleasantly surprised that I liked both of them :okthumb:

Peaches, LL is doing remarkable job getting interesting out of beaten pass movies.

If you haven't seen Amores Peras,
it's another good one, Mexican with English subtitles,
"Love is a Bitch" is English name
;-)

VERY strong and absolutelly not Hollywood movie

Yes, I saw that after you recommended it to me - VERY dark, but an EXCELLENT film! We'll have to start calling you and Susanne: Siskel and Ebert :wnw: (or Ebert and Roper or whatever they are now!)

Monsoon Wedding is another "fun" movie as is Billy Elliott.

The Pillow Book is darker, but very good.

I love movies and since we only have one VERY small video store (and it may have closed), Netflix is my lifesaver :cdance:

I can't believe I never heard of netflix. That's a great deal. I'll be signing up for sure.
