Mutt, for some reason the picture isn't showing, but I followed the link :awinky:
I've always said that "pug people" are, well, a little off (and I can say that since I'm one of them and have been since I was in the 5th grade :) ) and they come up with the most CREATIVE doggie costumes I've ever seen! My dogs don't do costumes - a fancy collar and maybe the bandana the groomer always puts on them, but no costumes :okthumb: But they are funny as heck to look at, hehehe (the COSTUMES, not the dogs for anyone that tries to be a smartalec!). |
really? the pic shows up fine for me.
i love dogs, mine is in bad shape, Christmas has sucked for her. But i don't get the pug, boxer, bulldog thing, they're all very popular now - i like em cuz all dogs are good but the flat face thing just doesn't do it for me. I like the dog face of a retriever, i always wanted one since i was a kid and got stuck with a little terrier/chihuahua mix, then the next dog i got was a pound puppy who i liked but that was some kind of spaniel/collie mix so when she died i finally got a chance to get a retriever 13 years ago. Now she's falling apart unfortunately. |
pic no longer shows for me either, guess they turned on the htaccess

Pugs just seem to have a lot of personality. Our first one was a stray that adopted the construction guys when we were building our house in Savannah when I was a kid. We had to look up what she was - they were NOT popular! But she was just a riot. They're like big dogs in a small body and unlike most toy breeds, they aren't "yappy". And they are the sweetest dogs - just good natured and IMHO, darned cute. :okthumb: They say all breeds are bred for a purpose - hunting, guarding, etc. and that pugs are bred for strictly for comic relief  |
