Vick Meni is right. rec.arts.movies.erotica is Usenet's only group about the porn industry, video biz. They call the guys who post there 'raincoaters' - these are the hardest of the hardcore porn fans. They can write treatises about The Evolution of The Peep Show Booth in Post War America, they know every studio, every star, strippers. It's a moderated newsgroup, 90% of my posts get rejected.

Some porn talent posts there but it's such a rough crowd that most have been chased away. Ed Powers used to, Rodney Moore as well. Lately I saw Jules Jordan, superstar director posting a bit. Henri Pachard who is a legend in the video biz also posted some things recently. Most porn girls who try to post there get attacked personally so not too many of them. Gauge from time to time posts, mostly spam for her website but her posts are pretty funny. She's white trash poster child but she's not an idiot.
