AOL's legal department posted it all up for our enjoyment...

Alex I read through this last night.... these people who were hammered were doing all kinds of agressive, stupid things. Including continueing to spam AOL when there was a court order against them to stop.
They deserve to get what they got. Ironicly, I continue to get spam FROM AOL, trying to get me to join for free!!! They must have learned from CEN because they have "affiliates" spamming for them! |
Interesting reading Alex. From looking over the documents on the AOL site, it looks like the guy ran pamsplayhouse.com amoung others. The defendants tried to jerk the court around and refused to answer to complaints in a proper manner, or provide any information at all for that matter. The court finally got fed up with their games and ruled them in default because they were trying every trick in the book to dodge the lawsuit. So what does a default judgement like that mean? Can AOL now collect that money, or what happens next?
