CEN Admits Shaving

Joseph Elkind aka JoeE sent me a copy of an incriminating email by the operator of CEN, Fabian, to owner John Bennett on 2/13/02 about a thread on www.gofuckyourself about CEN's email program Emailbucks.

Fabian wrote JB: "Will try to read those boards... don't have the time for it ;-(

"We do 'shave' some .. no other way to keep it profitable .. will come up with some new tricks to give more back to the webmasters."

JB replies to Fabian: "Me neither, was actually looking for clickcash info."

Zubr writes on a www.gofuckyourself.com thread about CEN's Emailbucks program: CEN used to be a very respective company and paid on time every week. But now my rates dropped at least 20 times.. they just don't track. As for the payment, there's no trouble for sending $20 checks on time

CEN operator Fabian writes: I personally manage Emailbucks on a day-to-day base. Database is growing fast and therefor it's getting harder to get 'unique' signups ..on the other hand: you know for sure you will get a check ;-).

If you're having ratio problems my suggestion is to select a 'niche' panel, e.g. the amateurlist is obvious smaller then the celebrity list and thus automatically more unique signups.

If anyone is experiencing any stats problem or the reported '50% of the time they don't count' simply email me and we will check it out.

With close to 30.000 affliates and millions of emails coming in per month it's somewhat hard to monitor each and every account.

Serge I do not think the shit is going to hit the fan as far as CEN shaving, everyone always knew they shaved. No big suprise.

Now what is suprising is how JoeE has been battling, and that could definately could lead to more shit hitting the fan.

It's always something hitting the fan in this business.

speaking of death sites, I heard a nasty rumor through my favorite Japanese underground horror DVD supplier that the guys who produce the "Guinnea Pig" movies are thinking of doing full blown websites for each flick.....then watch the Sensitive Porners Committee throw a MAJOR hissy ;)))

there is a series of Japanese "horror" movies...loosely hooror...called The Guinnea Pig movies...they are basically filmed via handheld camera and involve torture (simulated), brutality and would appear to the untrained eye as snuff...everything is staged, but the realism is way too much and very hard to take, even for my tastes....there is basically little to no plot, just violence and simulated torture for the sake of violence and simulated torture....think of wall-to-wall porn done for the torture set...

not sure if it's true or urban legend, but it's been said some of the actresses have quick making films are appearing in some of these films as the psychological impact was too much for them...

I love a good machette to the face movie as much as the next guy and even the Faces Of Death/Death Faces/Traces of Death/Shocking Asia movies have all graced my vcr and/or dvd player...but the guinnea pig series is a bit too much even for me.......

Damn I forgot all about the Guinnea Pig movies! I have one of them here (in a box somewhere) on VHS tape, "Guinnea Pigs: Flowers of Flesh and Blood". I was at a party a long time ago (1989?) and someone had it playing on the VCR. They gave it to me to take home but they never came back to get it. I remember something about Charlie Sheen seeing it at a party and calling the FBI to report it as a snuff film. Don't know if that was an urban legend or not, I'll have to look it up.

It's definitely disturbing, but I used to love that stuff, Faces of Death, Henry: POSK, etc. That reminds me I have a copy of Fangoria (probably in the same box) I got signed by Tom Savini. I'll have to dig all that stuff out one of these days. B)

ah, yes, the signed Fango issues, I have a few too....I figure the Evil Dead issue signed by both Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell are worth the most, especially after the success of Spider-Man...I just recently renewed my subcription to Fango because it's so hard to find in stores nowadays.....
