and yapping all the time on the boards.... if everytime you do, people realize you are a buffoon?

Will you eventually realize it yourself?

Mike AI 06-21-2003 05:41 PM

I would say the answer is NO..... but sometimes self awareness is a dangerous thing!

Well, some people say any exposure is good exposure. That's fine if the person is a shit disturber... most people can look past that on the boards....

but a pure bona fide idiot... would you do business with them?

Monk 06-21-2003 06:03 PM

Good point Mike and Slav!!

"you could -- like Wiley Coyote in the cartoon -- look down and realize that you are standing on nothing, that your life is without foundation. Then you feel like you are about to plunge into the void."

That IS dangerous!!

Is there any value in opening your mouth?

..better to keep mouth shut and let everyone think youre an idiot rather than open it and confirm the same thing. :hic:

Would you do business with Forest knowing that he will make slanderous allegations about very private non-business related habits if there is a "misunderstanding"?

None of us are, that's why it's wise to avoid doing business with people who have a tendency to bring irrelevant embarrassing personal issues to a pissing match ;-)

Claudia,

I am a saint. I dont do drugs, I dont drink, and I certianly dont get crazy.
Im the perfect, chivalrous gentleman who still believes in opening a ladies door for her, giving up his jacket if she is cold, and making her cum as many times as it takes for her to pass out.

Forest,

I'm not sure how good your memory is... but Serge is a pro at bringing people into his good graces to get the # of posts up and then sending them into exile once he has another dancing monkey to take their place...... seems to me you have been on both ends of this before.

Is he one of the guys you consider family?

voodooman 06-22-2003 06:35 AM

Monk,

Im a little confused about your post.

Where you taking a shot at Serge, or Forest?

Mostly Forest though.

Monk 06-22-2003 06:50 AM

...and although Serge seems like a nice guy overall, some of the stuff he does on the boards is a little over the line in my opinion...

... but hey, that's just one man's opinion.

chalk that one up to obvious inexperience...

business contacts go out of business, relationships go sour, people change, people retire, people die, industries change, business you have with people may dry up.... etc. etc.

we have an old saying that says "don't burn your ships before you've reached land", it seems Forest has burned many ships over the past few days...

unless you are in real estate or your name is Rick Schwartz don't assume any of your businesses will last longer than a handful of years... they can but more often than not they don't... ESPECIALLY in e-commerce!
