another jokes aside question:
which museums in Amsterdam impressed you the most and why?

I didnt make it into some of the big ones as the tourist lines were freakishly long and there was no way in hell I was gonna stand in line for an hour to be herded along with a bunch of dumb fucking American tourists.

http://www.euronet.nl/users/warnar/oudekerk.html

That was my favorite place. Right in the middle of the red light district was this big old church. Surrounding it on the non canal side is nothing but fat black imported whores. Walking down the alley behind it, 3 feet to the left were whores, 3 feet to the right was the wall of that church. Where the sacred met the secular, it is the center of the universe. In the span of 10 minutes I could have banged a big black whore, smoked a joint, ate some shrooms, and then walked into the same church that Rembrandt worshipped, and never moved more than 50 ft to accomplish it all.

God bless the Dutch.

Or pay them - he was quite impressed with himself that he was going to be buying hookers in Amsterdam. :P

Ignore

(hint: when you respond to someone, you're not ignoring them)[/b][/quote]

Another comprehension problem I see.

Normally: Conforming with, adhering to, or constituting a norm, standard, pattern, level, or type; typical.

Since I have been registered here, the only time I respond to Carrie is when she responds to something I say. Previous to Oprano and her apparent dislike of me, I had no idea who she was. I have no message board history with her per se that I know of.

Normally... I ignore her. Obviously today I have not as she feels the need to speak to me for whatever reason.

If she stopped speaking to me, it would go back to normal. And what I normally do is ignore her.

Make sense?

Again, normally means conforming with, adhering to, or constituting a norm, standard, pattern, level, or type; typical.

Typically, over the past few months, you will find that I usually "ignore" her. Paying her no mind until she responds to something I say to someone else.

But when she feels the need to express herself to me personally, she will get a response for the most part. I have no problem calling her a bad mother and a horrible person, but normally I ignore her.

I have to believe that I said that slow enough and enough times that even you will understand.

Such a response about a person he purportedly ignores and cares nothing for.

He REALLY meant that he ignores every 4th post from you on the third Friday in the 2nd month that has an "R" in it when there's a full moon.

His definition of "ignore" is very complex!! :P

from across the great divide
voices trapped in yearning
memories trapped in time

the night is my companion
and solitude my guide
would I spend forever here

I've heard about, but not heard of the old singer from Faces doing a cover of that but ......

... I'm staying away from it on purpose

Nobody can play it like Sam

Carrie 01-19-2004 12:09 AM

That makes me think of something shimmery and elegant, long black silk gloves to match... hair in a bun pinned with pearls spinning softly in a smoky room over a polished wooden floor...

Vick 01-19-2004 12:16 AM

after that...

...I'm going to bed

Good night to all

No hon....that's not how it works.

Her responding is saying that she's enjoying some 'downtime' at the expense of an apparently unarmed man(?).

And honestly, I doubt anyone here 'hates' you - whether they ignore you or not. Ya see, hate implies caring - it's a strong emotion that requires energy. And I've yet to see one person post (or act as if) they care that much.

You're simply Oprano's side show - something they get for free to entertain the 'family' and get people posting. I've watched boards for years and am always amazed at how folks like you fall into that trap - they think they're someone important enough to wreak all sorts of havoc and all they really are is a 'loss leader' for a board.

Serge - sorry missed ya internext hon (smootch)
