Aga and I made the decision to pay for posts for a number of reasons, some obvious to most others prob only you will know why Serge because you have a closer understanding of our complete business model now. When we got Netpond it was basiccaly a mess, we got raped and pillaged by every fucker in this business before we even got the server passwords LOLOLOL... Netpond is number 2 busiest adult webmaster board in the world right now accfording to Board Tracker stats. Oprano posters post what is of interest to them and Netpond posters post what interests them, two different boards with two different peronalities, sometimes netponders wnat to talk business most times not, however they are all webmasters all producing or trying to produce the most money thhey can from webmastering The fact we pay for posting doesnt mean to say Netpond webmasters are not interested in business. There are lots of bad elements in this business trying to screw every other fucker before every other fucker screws them that has always been the case in this biz...I feel no threat because of the info I know because for the most part is going to stay with me till I die, hopefully of natural causes:) There are worse elements in this biz than people who steal traffic and having been the recipient of a death threat that needed to be taken extremely seriously I have taken steps to go to my grave kicking and screaming should I meet with an ounce of lead somewhere... 5 lawyers in 5 countries have full details of my death threat along with everything I know and including pictures:) The day I or someone close to me meets with an untiml;ey death is the day that some people are going to wake up with some fucking nasty headaches courtesy of Police forces in 5 different countries in this world. I have stopped worrying about a bullet in the back of my head, wasnt doing me any good. I have taken steps that will ensure the deed doesnt go unpunished. |

I dont think Oprano has to compete with any other board it stands alone as a unique board because of the people and personalities that frequent it. Nothing will change that unless Serge and Mike close it down. Other boards may be busier but there will always only be one Oprano. As a board owner that competes against other boards, Oprano is the only other board I will read or post on, the others mean nothing to me and have no relevance for me except for Netpond to kick there asses:))) We stopped competinmg against Oprano along time ago, we can live with each other and exist togther:) Last edited by Meat at Apr 4 2004, 04:09 AM |

I will toss my 2 cents in.
As far as boards go, this one will stay with its usual happenings, but gfy and weasel's board will deffinately be changing. Gfy I think will *eventually* impose stricter sigwhoring rules and attempt to cut out uselessness that's been driving people away (or at least quality people) for the last six months especially. weasel's board is brads version of a pump and dump stock scam. There's a reason his sponsors must commit to 3 months worth of advertising upfront. Within 6 months, advertisers will start backing off his board, and it'll start to dry up. When I play weasel's board poker once in a while, I've never heard of 94% of the people, they are all sigwhores or highschool dopers who accidently broke their dvd player and must find a way to get another one without actually working. As far as netpond, I regretably didn't post there much back in the day and don't do so currently, I cannot spend too much time on boards. I can't really say for sure how they will do in the future. Speaking of the future, what NEW board COULD be the future? I think there could be a healthy mix of bullshit and business, which gfy once was and still is but the ratios are getting a bit nuts. So something new would be a board, invite only, where people make important posts but are not shunned by the occasional "would you hit it" thread. Only 2 lines of text in the sigs would also be useful. Some of my thoughts. As for me, I will stick around here, and will post on gfy on a decent basis.
