I wish this board gave out reputation points like the the New VB board does.

That last post hit it on the nose.

A.) You love me :)

B.) We will be upgrading to the new version of this board soon. Technicks "if it ain't broke ,don't fix it" and that he can do more with RSS feeds manually that the ones you get with VB...;-)...I dunno,....remember he is mad :)

Nick, that post was pure Melville in terms of being classic and epic...

Here are some reflections on those whales you describe:

1.) The highly hunted and prized Mailer Whale:

A dangerous beast that is as likely to bring down a ship just as easily as delivering a bounty of riches. Over-hunted by greedy mongers, usually considered on an ethical par with slave trading...

2.) The illusive SE Whale

Blue as the sky and truly bountiful at much less risk but hard to catch and prone to geologic shifts of territory as in "here today and gone tomorrow".. All the so called "gurus" that one sticks up in a crow's nest tend to overestimate their worth and stake their claim on past achievement rather than future glory.

3.) The Domain Whale.

A fat bloated beast that wallows in the warmest waters. This monster is related to the SE whale but takes a decent investment to catch as all the best domains have been fished up and flayed long ago. Yes, you can get traffic to sexyamateursex-fucking-orgasms-sexsexsex.com but it is like fishing for minnows with a harpoon...

You missed a sub species of the mailer whale.

Which I will not give a description of.

What is wrong with being a subspecies ??

I mean just because you're a subspecies doesn't make you any less then being a species. (except in those things that you may be substandard in)

I mean, there is a place for everyone and everything in this world, a perfect order so to speak.. So, as long as a subspecies knows it's place it will get along just fine.

in taxonomy, a subspecies is the grouping immediately suboordinate to a species..it is a building block for a species, a genus, a family, etc. using it as an insult doesnt make sense
