Define "ugly". There have been no threats, personal information posted, etc. It's pretty tame, all things considered. Filled with warmth - I even felt sorry for Labret for a bit. :)

i've watch the oprano regulars 'attempt' to beat down Labret over and over and over and over and over. the entire place appears to be (at least on the surface) a sort of club, sitting quietly, agreeing with each other, waiting for the next anomaly. and yet i still keep posting. weak, i know :)

I believe Michael's basing this comment on Labret himself bragging about how much people "hate" him and bragging about wearing this "hate" like a badge. :) However, since it's impossible for any of us to "hate" Labret, he (Michael) used the term "dislike".

Correct Peaches. I think Labret and Serge are a lot alike, they like stirring the pot.

Just like a lot of people disliked Serge on the boards, and many were afriad of him - the truth is in real life Serge is a teddy bear. Once of the nicest, classiest people I know.

I think Labret is probably the same in person. Maybe even a little shy.

There is no doubt Oprano regulars are clubby - many of us have known each other for 5+ years. have done business with one another, spent personal time at each others houses, etc...

But there is no ONE Oprano.

Labret came here throwing bombs. I personally love it. I wish more people would do the same. I like people who defy conventional ( or board/group thinking), and can do it in a wity funny way.

I have seen Labret get his fair share of laughs, and support. But lets face it, I do not think he seeks it, nor wants it. Labret wants to be revialed by most people... that is his shtick.

13+ years in the telecom industry (MCI, Sprint, ATT reseller - that's how I met R_n - he was my customer in the 900 biz). Thankfully even when I started I had commercial accounts - not residential, but they loved to rip you a new one when their lines were down. :P After awhile, it's like water off a duck's back. :okthumb:
