This thread is hilarious. :)

Why are you all so keen on trying to bash Labret? I don't get it.
Maybe I'll see your point of view in a week when I'll drink him under the table. :)

No one's bashing him - merely pointing out truths. Which is more than I can say for him. :awinky: You've met me - you know I have TWO teeth, not just one. :P

Serge, has it somehow escaped your attention that this board is being used as a virtual contact point for all those travelling to Amsterdam this week?
It's come to ALL our attention that this is the case. :P

Seems to me that you folks would have email addresses and/or cell phones, but I guess not. :(

Email me with the name of your hotel and a time to meet up tonight.

I've just had an old friend from New York fly in this morning and he's settling in and getting used to how strong the weed is.

I'll check my email again about 5 pm or so make it after then.

We'll go on a coffeeshop crawl.

Advice to the Young
9 ¶ Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment.

10 Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh: for childhood and youth are vanity.

Incorect and wrong.

I did not quote that page, or any other page on the net.

I opened the bible on my desk to a placeholder.

YOu mentioned awhile back Ecclesiastes was your favorite, so I marked it and began reading it to try and understand why you said it was.

Its silly for you to think I quote some angelfire site when I am not.

You put too little trust in me.

do you really beleive you can outdo me on FACTS?

you quote INTERPRETATIONS,
not the Ecclesiastes itself...and those interpretations are as good as Labret's mind....

FIND ME THOSE WORDS IN THE ECCLESIASTES and I'll be beaten...or just bow to your Elders and Betters,
which is much more WISE thing to do

nope....

Now I am reading the wrong bible

hahah

ANyway Serge, I have nothing to prove to you man, I read and what I read I take in.

Bash it however you want.

This may not be the exact wording of the original, hell who even know the original?

You claimed I quoted something I did not, therefore you were wrong, despite the original wording or phrase used 1000 years ago in some language I cant even read, most likely nor can you.

I have to get back to work though.

I am very overbooked, I just peeked in here to say hi to everyone and wish the Amsterdam crew a good time.

No, you are absolutely correct about this bible. It is in fact, 'Today's English Version' I read what the catgholics shove down their kids throats.

I didnt say you were wrong about it being an interpretation.

I have a few different bibles, this is the one on my desk.

I can admit when I am wrong. I said you were wrong about 'where I quoted it.' Which is true, you said I quoted a page I did not, hence me saying you were wrong.

Anyway, I sense nothing but condescending 'you are a child' tones here so theres really no need to continue, but I wanted to tell you you were right about the bible being an interpretation. This bible is the one they give catholic school students, I got it before I made my confirmation in Sunday school... have underlined passages in it for years.

Im glad you say its the wrong bible, this is exactly what I told my teachers then, I didnt believe in it then, and still do not.

So make another comment about me or cherry and get it over with, this is why I dont post here much, the 'youre just a kid' thing has gotten old.

Anyway, enjoy your holiday Serge, its been fun.
