FACT: if you can view it, you can capture it.

you can make it harder for the masses to grab it. but no matter how difficult you make it, there's some jack ass out there who will grab it and convert it right back to an open format and post it on torrents, newsgroups, fileshare sites, boards, etc.

i believe for the future, smart money finds where the balance is. you want it easily viewed by the paying customer. but you also want it watermarked and find that line between easily viewed by a noob, but enough of a challenge to capture to deter the casual thief.

the determined thief is going to steal your stuff no matter what. likewise there's a very large segment of people out there who absolutely will not pay for content, you'll never force 'em to do so. dont cost yourself paying customers trying to do so.

our current glucose overload of choice there is a toasted coconut cheese cake thingie....

andrew and chef craig also have pretty tasty desserts. erika has gathered quite the fan base there too including a cute lesbian photographer. i've also never seen andrew in "yes ma'am" mode, i nearly cracked up when our little erika passed up peach pound cake and ice cream and ordered him to fetch her a slice of triple chocolate mousse cake...

Shes developed quite a nose for food.

I remember the first night she was in Charlotte and said that the nicest place shed ever been taken to was the Cheesecake Factory. So I took her to Maggianos next door.

I guess when your a big pimpin internet stud full of gfy street cred thats ok. You can always go couch surfing for 99 cents to get that tasty Taco Bell meal of the day.

There appears to be any number voting with their feet, including some major posters. It is clear that it is driving a line down the middle, where people are taking sides. The one that surprises me the most is Shap, who in the last couple of years has gone from protective content producer to man with a copyright on "porn tube" or whatever who is willing to sue and support his fellow tube owners. So Gonzo, you can add twistys cash shap cash and all to your list of active supporters of illegal tubes.

I have read that board a few times but even though people say it's good for traffic, I just don't like it there, never posted there. Seems like too much drama, sexism, and generally annoying-ness for me, if I want to put up with that I'll log back into my cam sites and make some money while I'm at it. In one of those "perfect storm" things, Navisite is in the process of absorbing the data center from Jupiter tonight, so the zoo and the playboy properties are all unreachable for a while. So not only are most of the remaining people with even passible morals leaving the building, but now they are looking at some downtime too.

You would think with the amount of money they have and the staff they have and the staff that Jupiter has that they could pull off a server move.

But noooooo. They are still down right now (at least gfy is) and that is somewhere in the 14hour mark if it actually got started in the 8pst time frame last night.

I don't know, I am old so I was off the computer before that last night.
