Now wait a minute. I just assumed Mods couldn't play. If I had known I could play I would have.
So since we've only had 2 answers ane the rules say points for the first three.
My answer is Carry On.
Which by the way were some of the funniest movies of my childhood.

Question 2
The Skipper: Jonas Grumby
The Professor: Roy Hinkley
Mrs Howell: Lovey Howell

Question 3

Carry on

I don't think I like how these questions are timed to go up AFTER I go home.

The rules state "Mods who have a handle that begins with the letter 'R' and end with the letter 'd' are not eligible for anything, anytime, anywhere"

(ands don't blame me, I didn't make the rules, I only misquote them freely :yowsa: )

I'm trying to post the questions at various times of the day to give everyone an equal shot. However, I'm having a great deal of trouble determining exactly what time of day it is.

Yes, I have a clock, but it's analog and hence, it could be AM, it could be PM, it could be Q...who knows at this point....

That's ok Morgan. I forgive you.

And by the way I'm still working on that golf package for you when I have time.

Questions answered and a notation.

To review, Trev is a mod and playing for the amusement value of the whole thing. :) Therefore, he is *not* getting points for his answers.

Make sure to examine the questions and the posted answers, do the research and post your answer...just in case there are unclaimed points floating around anywhere. :)

Question #4

Carmine Caridi, Warren Beatty, Alain Delon, Burt Reynolds, Robert Redford, Jack Nicholson, Dustin Hoffman, Ryan O'Neal, Robert De Niro and Martin Sheen were all up for a role that director Francis Ford Coppola insisted go to a little known, Tony Award winning Broadway actor. What is the name of the actor and the character he played?

It just wouldn't be cricket if I was playing to win, plus having to edit all the other peoples answers would become a royal pain in the backside :yowsa:

The actor was Peter Uvanovich and the role we know him for from that great Coppola film "Three Amigos" was Mickey The Mouse

That only happens if someone is shorter than me (which excludes all but children and midgets), or if they are sitting down. Otherwise my method of retalliation is a punch right to the groin, since thats just in my reach.

You listening Sar? Unless you want to singing soprano instead of watching them, don't mess with the short kid. :p

I think considering Red's post, you might want to consider selecting prize #3, the sport's cup. (With or without the optional vibrating attachment.) :)

Question #5

What is the name of the ill fated horse in “The Godfather,” whose head ended up in the producer’s bed?

or did you mean the "actors name"?

Trev 08-11-2005 01:23 PM

Re: The “Oprano Lounge Tribute to Obscure Trivia” Game!

Khartoum was the horses name and it cost $600,000 (in the film that is) :D

Trev...the question was a copy/paste, just like all the other questions, yet for some reason it came out tiny.

Thank you, crumpet. :inlove:

I have no idea why it did that. I have Word .doc that has the list of questions and they're all the same font. All I did was copy/paste that question, the same as the others. Gremlins, I guess. :)

......little hands and Little eyes They walk around Tellin' great big lies
They got little noses And tiny little teeth They wear platform shoes On their nasty little feet
They got little baby legs That stand so low You got to pick 'em up Just to say hello
They got little cars That go beep, beep, beep They got little voices Goin' peep, peep, peep
They got grubby little fingers And dirty little minds......

Actually, I love that song. It came out about the same time I was doing stand up and of, course that's what was played as I walked out on stage.

That still doesn't let sarettah off the hook though. ;)
