Not off hand mate. Before my time. But I can ring Dean and find out! :P Doesn't mean it didn't happen, but from my research and knowing many who had exceeded the mil per year on those days, I don't remember Brad being mentioned in those conversations. You, Ron, Dean, JB (?) and some of the others, but not Brad. Shit I don't think even the original PB had hit that mark in 97, but I could be wrong there (was it 96), although I am almost sure PG did it first. Would that be a correct assumption? What can I say - I am a student of history, and the subject is fascinating. BTW.. waiting for your call on the vino shipment
ScottPB was there BEFORE FM, before Dean, even though they both worked for the same outfir at different times ;-)) Dean, ScottPB, I praise Australians for their guts, business ethics and their iron clad word and sense of honor. They made me and I NEVER forget good things done for me and return a favor every time I have a chance. as for vino- hold it, and your intention has been noted with a big :okthumb: |

IEG, babenet, WebPower, CE's FastCast was closed to new webmasters at that time. Late 97 is harder to pin down, thats when conversion ratios started to matter PH was at around 4 cents a click, CE and Intergal invented conversion tables. SergesCash was around 4.5 cents i think |

look at it this way, clinton lied about a BJ no harm done ... Bush lied about WMD, and tens of thousands of people died, and are still diying point is, some liars are worse than others...and the effect of the lie can be very troubling if not kept in perspective.... |

;-)
you're right, your payout was about 3 cents in 97 i should have remembered, cuz that was the last time i sent you traffic :) and i think PH started at 3.5 cents a click than that sounds more accurate now |

;-)
3.25 ... haha.. I had forgotten about that.. I remember logging in at the end of the day to see the stats in the text file. :-) I see Confucy got the boot.. it is so much more peaceful when she isn't here. |

In some circles I hear that pay per click will make a come back? what do you oprano's think?

how come it seems that every time one of these arguments pop up, the year everyone got started goes back a year. There were very few legitimate adult millionaires in 1997, maybe 1-2% of those that made it in the years that followed. |

Not sure what you are referring to, but BRad has always been up front and honest with me. He is also a good friend, and all around decent guy, a lot more tha i can say for some of his detractors, thats for sure. |
Seriously, you want to compare Nick to Brad when it comes to honesty, truthfulness, and dignity? Nick is funny, a fun guy to be around, and damn well knows how to earn a buck, but ive seen a lot in my days. He's very intelligent, but would fuck a snake if you held it;)
But who amongst business men (and women) Do not have a few skeletons. |

Grimm, Goerbbels likes animals, was good to them, should we sing praises to Goebbels too? If you have problem me ripping Brad second asshole and would rather have me rip you one, just wink and I'll do it in no time. I've got your number too, putz. |

Serge it is best to keep your friends out of your checkbook, or at least seperate the two wholly. Think of how our relationship blossomed after we got out of that nasty click business, ya old dog;) One of the problems with the adult industry, is too many people think the people they meet at parties and start doing business with are their friends. In doing business and being successful, there is a certain amount of bullshit and backbiting that needs to be done. Survival of the fittest. Thats why it is best not to get ones feelings hurt over business transactions. If the man who fucks you is a theif and a friend, just go out to lunch after you take him for all he's worth in court;) Brad's a nice guy, neer had a problem with him. Went to his wedding, along with MikeAI, and many others. Had a wonderful time. Never made much with his programs, but never really tried them. as for assholes, sure, rip me a new one, for old times sake;) but be gentle! |

just to teach you a lesson how to keep your mouth shut when I talk of sneakes, weasles and liars.
Seems i hit a nerve;) And yes, i have been out of the adult loop, not sure where all this venom was coming. Last time i saw we were all friends;) |
Quote:
I'd take BAD relations and $50k a week in business over good relations and zilch any time ;-)))) I kept you for money, not your good look ;-)))) as for ripping you the asshole, you right, ain't worth it, I see no benefits for me whatsoever and I am tired today, I just finished ripping a second asshole to my doctor's receptionist/office manager. One asshole per day is my new limit ;-)))) |

Your taking his side is throwing our friendship out of the window. do YOU have a proof/belief that he made over 1mil in 1997? YES or NO? |

He's still my friend i don't take them and drop them depending on my mood. a friend is a friend is a friend, until such friend oes something to damage that friendship. Its a way of living that has worked for me. Friendhsip is hard to earn, and should be equally hard to lose. |

no but as i said before, if i had to wager a guess, i would say know, that was very early. he is younger than I, and i certainly didnt make 1 million in 1997, in fact, i was a junior in college. which would have put him alongside me. I do know h made more than i did coming out of the gate, or at least converation fodder back thn indicted so. so if i were to wager a guess, i would say no. |
