The hospital was short staffed and had 3 C-Sections scheduled the day he was born and 3 other women came in while in labor at about the same time so ...

... our birth plan flew out the window and I had to assist in the birth due to a lack of available nurses, Sebastian came out with the cord wrapped around his neck twice,

While Dr unwound the cord she gave me whatever type of scissors are used for cutting the cord - it's wasn't bad enough I had a leg and was holding Kate's head with my other hand

Yes, I saw a very graphic birth up close

The first thing Sebastian ever did in this world was cry out, the second thing was take my finger in his hand
