Colin, using your description of power, I would say that PK and GK do have a certain amount of POWER. Whether they have power over you is not relevant. They have the power to pick up the phone and call people and get things done. They both have *connections* and they both have made enough money to open many doors.

PK started out in '95 and gradually made Persian Kitty the Yellow Pages of Porn Sites. Gary fought like hell and made major sacrifices and held on to his sex.com, the most recognized porn domain name/website on the internet. Therefore, they have a great deal of power and do influence many porn webmasters.

When two sites are this recognizable, power just naturally follows.

Until you can come up with a list of more powerful people in porn, I suggest you accept my two recommendations and move forward, into the light, my son! :nyanya:

being 'recognised' doesn't *necessarily* equal power - or you'd be the top of that list ;-)

the way i see it ... if you are buying a list from someone else, those on the list didn't opt to receive anything from you ... 'opt in' doesn't mean 'only requested to be removed 10 times' or 'opted in to a list at 1 site therefore opted into the list of anyone who purchases it' ...

opt in means that someone visited YOUR site and requested information on YOUR services - double opt in is where they confirm this request ... not to split hairs, but you have been very outspoken on the issue for quite a long time - its just surprising to see your attitude change so much on a suject you've judged plenty of others on ...
