PornoDoggy, you are too smart to make such a stupid comment.

Do you remember that cartoon where the conservative right blamed Clinton for *everything* they hated?

Well, I am substituting Mitnick because IT PLEASES ME! No other reason. I make myself laugh every time I add Mitnick's name to a thread. He is a fucking jerk. That doesn't make me obsessed. It may make me sound weird as hell, but aren't we all a bit crazy to be spending time on porn boards bullshitting!!!!! :zoinks:

The logic behind this one escapes me too, ma'am ... I think that conservatives who blame Clinton (or liberals who blame Bush) for everything are pretty fucked up in the head too.

The rationalizations of groupies and namedroppers generally tend to be pretty lame ... that was no exception.

Im jealous PD....your stupid...Im only a nobody![/b][/quote]
But the question is ... am I smart stupid, or stupid smart?

confucy 09-19-2003 06:06 PM

PornoDoggy, making a stupid comment does not make someone stupid, and making comments about an evil cracker/hacker does not make someone obsessed.

I think the others are making you confused. We are really getting off the subject of the thread which is...there are some funny interviews Jayman is having with webmasters.

Haven't you ever watched your favorite actor on a talk show like Leno or Letterman, and the actor can't say one word without stumbbling all over the place. We sit there watching the TV screen wondering what happened to that brilliant actor we saw in our favorite movie. The fact is that many webmasters can type up a storm on the boards, but if you were to meet them in person, they would act and talk like idiots.

JR is a perfect example. He sounds mild and meek when talking, yet when he attacks people on Oprano, he comes across as king of the hill.

After listening to JR, I no longer believe him on the boards. Sorry, little piss-ant JR! You are not superman! :redance:

You are not Larry Flynt! You are a bitter little piss-ant who likes to pretend he is a clever webmaster. Join up with Benzo...sorry...Gonzo, and join the circus. :gbounce:

Forest could clean your clock, JR! :okthumb:

Almighty Colin 09-19-2003 06:08 PM

Q. What people do you admire in this business?
JR: "Confucy!"

confucy 09-19-2003 06:18 PM

Colin, JR doesn't admire me, but he likes my spunk. If he didn't, he wouldn't have attacked me over and over for the past three years.

Some men get off smacking women, fucking them in the ass knowing they are hurting them, embarrassing them in front of friends, telling lies about them to appear to be big men!

I don't have to mention names. We all know who these men are on the boards. Men want to be in control. They want attention. If they can't get the control and the attention they desire, then they turn into piss-ants like the ones who are attacking me. I don't take matters off the boards. I don't dig up dirt about those I don't like. They do it for me.

How ya doing these days, Colin? :D

sarettah 09-19-2003 06:36 PM

I'm finally at home and have had a chance to listen to the interview....

JR sounded fine to me....... Actually sounded fairly laid back.......

confucy 09-19-2003 06:47 PM

sarettah, that's the point I was trying to make. JR sounds like a normal human being. Put him on the boards, and he becomes a bastard and a know-it-all pseudo expert. I like the JR on the radio.

Did you notice how short his interview was? The rest average out to about 15 minutes. JR spoke for around 5 minutes. Nothing to say in real life, but a mountain to spit out on Oprano! :agrin:

cj 09-19-2003 06:51 PM

confucy, can i interview you?

I have never felt that way about JR and the evidence does not suppport it....

He has less than 800 posts here.... So, a "mountain to spit out on Oprano" is a very big exageration....

And since most of those posts are photoshop stuff, that would indicate to me that he is not very verbose........

In the interview he came off as intelligent and laid back to me.....

cj 09-19-2003 07:01 PM

sarettah, jr has been a lot quieter in the last 6 months - maybe you scare him!!! :yowsa:

i thought jr sounded a bit uncomfortable being interviewed ... i would have liked to interview him with some better questions ...

i still think it sounded pretty good

confucy 09-19-2003 07:06 PM

CJ, I like being the interviewer. Darren Austin interviewed me, and I was very nervous, just like JR.

The problem I would have being interviewed is that the person interviewing me would want to know about my websites, my legal background, and so far I have remained quiet about them. There are so many secrets I can't reveal, so I would be a very boring subject. :)

I have encouraged Lee Noga to write a book. I hope Luke Ford writes another book about the REAL porn industry instead of his book about Hollywood producers. Gary Kremen's ex-attorney, Charles Carreon has been talking bout his book for years, and it still hasn't been published.

There are a lot of talented people I would like to interview, including some I don't respect like Steve Cohen, Andy Edmond, Seth Warshevsky, Rob Gould, and many others. <_<

Agreed.... a good interview depends on the interviewer making a connection with the interviewee.....

I am just now finally listening to an interview I did on script school a couple of months ago... I never did go back to listen and see how I sounded.....

But they use winamp and it does not have a way to fast forward, I am 33 minutes into the show recording and it is finally gonna get to the part I'm on....lololol......

Uh, I'm Gonzo's buddy. :) And I'm in an extremly pissy mood because I've been sitting in freaking Marietta/East Cobb/West Cobb/75 north traffic since noon today, so if he's going to be my buddy even when I'm PISSED OFF at everyone, that says something. :P

Off to down a few bottles of red.......

confucy 09-19-2003 07:17 PM

Peaches, it's 5 p.m. in LA. Being it's the beginning of the weekend, the traffic is usually heavier. It is a 10 minute drive up the hill to LAX. Now that they are building up the Marina on the old Howard Hughes property, it can easily take 45 minutes to reach the airport or longer if there is rain.

A HEX ON TRAFFIC! :grrr:

i don't really care what websites you own or your legal background etc ... i want to know how you feel about orgasms & circumcision & penis size!!!

a good interview should sound like 2 people having a conversation about a subject they both like talking about ...

confucy 09-19-2003 08:13 PM

CJ, sweety! Now we're talking.

Nobody asks me those questions!

It's probably my fault. I jump onto the subject of hacking and then I spend the rest of the time defending myself.

I have been offered radio shows, but I wasn't interested at the time. If the new offer works out, maybe you and I could ask each other questions in prime time! :okthumb:

cj 09-19-2003 08:20 PM

sounds good!!

but i doubt anyone would listen to 2 'bitter old women' talk about penis size  :biglaugh:

confucy 09-19-2003 08:34 PM

CJ, if we want to talk about OLD, then we should mention Dr. Laura (mid 50's), Rush Limbaugh (50's), Art Bell (56 or 57 & he is returning to weekends - how many times has he quit & returned?), Howard Stern (late 40's). These radio personalities are in the top five in the ratings and they are getting up there in age!

We are spring chickens compared to the Big Dogs! :okthumb:

cj 09-19-2003 09:07 PM

good point!

I guess we can only try and find out huh?! :okthumb:

oh yeah, gonzo is a friend of mine. I sorta like the fat guy in fur :)

jaYMan 09-19-2003 09:27 PM

People are msg'ing me saying that Confucy is afraid to do a phone interview, I don't see that posted anywhere though, so I'm assuming its BS.

Confucy, may I interview you? This is your formal invitation :inlove: ;))

cj 09-19-2003 09:41 PM

JAYMAN!!!!!!! :bjump:

hey stranger, good to see you in these parts! how have you been?!

if you can get confucy on the radio, i bet it would be a record listener show!!!

jaYMan 09-19-2003 09:56 PM

Hi cj! I don't think she'll accept my interview offer, much less a live radio event with call-in's...

;)

looking forward to seeing you in vegas!!!

Ok...

First of all, Hi JayMan, nice to meet ya :)

Now..an idea.....

How many folks here are willing to do an interview for JayMan IF Confucy does a live call in interview ??

I will volunteer... :)

Hows about it.........

Build up JayMan's interview library and get to hear JayMan take on the mystery woman herself :)

:yowsa:

jaYMan 09-19-2003 10:24 PM

I'm not even sure if many people here knows me, but almost *everyone* is welcome for an interview ;)

Nice to meetcha too sarettah!

Thanks again for the welcome, never sure if I was welcome here or not...

no, why would i pick on jayman?!?!!
he's a cutie

how have you been dman? you should stop by here more often too ;-)

confucy 09-19-2003 11:08 PM

Jayman, thank you for the invitation, but you can find more interesting webmasters to interview. For some reason, I never get tired of listening to Gary Kremen. He has a very unique voice, and regardless of the misunderstandings we have had along the way, I still like Gary and wish him well. Even when Carreon and Gary were suing each other, Carreon still liked Gary.

The only time on porn radio where I have spoken is when Lee Noga made her announcement on Darren Austin's show that she was soon to be Sister Lee. I called the show to congratulate her, and Darren started asking me questions. I love radio. I have been involved in ham radio for 10 years, and I had a radio show back in Indianapolis.

Porn radio is a different kind of animal. Like most people, I feel more comfortable talking to people who know me or like me. Since most people don't like the confucy character, and not very many know who and what a *confucy* is, radio makes me a little uncomfortable when I think about being a guest.

Jayman, how about tracking down Seth & Cohen and doing an interview with them. Not only will you be doing something nobody has been able to do in a long while, but you may end up getting a reward. :okthumb:

jaYMan 09-19-2003 11:28 PM

Hey Bishop, got that trailer cleaned out yet? I'm always looking for summer homes on lakes ;)

Confucy, first off, you didn't say no.

I remember the show you got on the air with Darren with. In fact, Darren Austin is my guest this coming week. Hope you can make it.

As far as being a bit uneasy as being a guest, ask anyone I've ever interviewed, I'm about the most laid back and relaxed guy there is. Pattyecake is the firecracker you gotta watch out for... something about redheaded women, *shrugs*...

I'd still like to have you as a guest regardless. You pick the topic. I will go out of my way to make it something you will be comfortable with.

This summer is about over.. no trailer to clean out. Considering building a cabin on the spot the trailer use to sit on though.. the trailer belong to a tenant.. they just rented the land from us. Your welcome to come for a visit though.. maybe by next summer we will be settled in and have all the boxes unpacked.

confucy 09-20-2003 01:51 AM

Jayman, you better check with bossman AGA. I'm the last person he would want you to invite to your show. I was banned from Netpond a year ago.

I miss Meat. Please give him my best. :okthumb:

The book is always better than the movie.

The book allows us to see things the way we want to see them, not the way someone else wants us to see them.

It's not a large achievement to be articulate, funny or intelligent on a messageboard. I mean... we are sitting here, connected what amounts to being the answer to every question in the world and we have as much time as we want to think before we speak.

after "JR, here is 10,000,000.00, please take it and spend it as you wish" - that has to be the nicest words i could ever imagine you saying. :)

There is nothing i could be more proud of in a friend, than seeing you make such a dramatic change in lifestyle and stick with it. its not really as easy as most make it sound. its amazing. congrats.

still waiting on the pics. :)

I believe people choose their personality and I've chosen to change mine. I may be less fun in the sense that I will not unpredictably pass out in front of hundreds of webmasters at conferences and I won 't be "that crazy guy" that "can REALLY party" but then again, I won't pass out in front of hundreds of webmasters at conferences and I won 't be "that crazy guy".

In real-life, JR is an ego-free easy-going partner. That can't come out easily in an interview. What's he going to say, "Hi, I'm JR and I'm modest"? ;-) JR is the guy that keeps two offices that are 11 time-zones apart running like a well-oiled M1A1 Abrams.
