A couple of years ago someone forwarded me an email with allegations that a content producer was not paying his models and being an all around cheapskate. I didnt really read the message in great detail but just reposted it asking Drity D aka Micheal Storm ..”Whats up with dat?”

I guess I should have read the email and the links a bit closer because hidden in there were links to his arrest record where he had been caught naked with some guys in an adult theater in tampa,florida along  with several models  complaining about how cheap he was and how they had ripped off.

Micheal Storm whined to me for months about how he was rich and how I was fat and broke when my concerned was if there was another cheap fuck in this business ruining it for the rest of us.

It seems in the end I was right.

Its not the tubes that have killed this business but instead its shady billing practices where processors allow customers to be banged out like a $5 whore on a Friday night.

While everyone has spent time distracted by tubes [which are a different problem all together] scamming programs like Pretty In Cash have quietly taken card banging and cross sales to a new all time low.

You have to see this review for yourself to understand how Pretty In Cash is using teengfs to con the consumer into extra charges.

Its no mystery why a consumer resorts to getting their jerk on at a tube site as your sales transition away.

This industry has lost its edge on new technology when it comes to dealing with social media.
Most self professed masters of the genre think that success lies in spamming your latest gallery or offer on twitter, facebook etc.

Then there are those that will tell you its a waste of time on cheap bastards with no credit cards while even others sit back as the new generation of cyber squatters register and control their brand.

This entry isnt to intended to be a debate.

Here is what happens when you hire someone that doesnt understand how social media marketing works.

Hypothetically you hire a social media consultant for a TV news station and give them access to a new electronic billboard bought to show off your techno savvy.
Your social media expert reads that you need to engage your audience – so they arrange this billboard to display a live twitter feed with the header RIGHT NOW ON TWITTER.

Both pretty impressive moves and nice bragging rights with one exception.
You hired some one that really doesnt understand social media marketing becasue they are LAZY and automate the the twitter feed until it displays a headline of
RIGHT NOW ON TWITTER with the caption
“3 accused of Gang Rape”

And on the left are your 3 smiling news anchors.

Congratulations youve hired a social media moron!

If your serious about hiring someone to do some social media work for you. Make sure you understand the concept first before making that hire.

Social Media Morons – Part 2

For the second time in a year porn 2.0 is featured on the web.

Earleir this year I spent the day in Charlotte with a team from BBC TV on a documentarty discussing the future of porn on the web and had a nice little 5 minute feature.

Over the years many of us have used the business axiom “In Niches Are Riches”.

I’ve come to realize that there is a better rule when deciding what to promote and develop going forward.

Follow the crowd.

Pick a very crowded genre and create your promotion or content that designed to feed a starving crowd in what is an established and sometimes saturated genre.

Why develop a new untested genre or a microniche when you can create a promotion where there are plenty of people ooking for what you have to offer.

Why do you think there are so many sites for genres like celebrities or blow jobs? There are millions of people who what to get their jerk on to what may seem quite vanilla to the rest of us.

In the past I have recommended to find a little niche that you can completely own.

But ask yourself how many people are out there interested in girls with long tongues , pedal pumping or bug squishing?

And then when a hungry competitor finds that your making money off of a new micro niche am larger company will clone what your doing only to piss in the pool with the same old scam of credit card banging and prechecked cross sales and once again defrauding the customer instead of providing a quality service.

The business has moved out of the realm of selling the dream of get rich quick into the dawn of reality where competition and solid, ethical business practices going forward.

Developing a micro niche can set a limitation on how large your business can grow.

And gets back to my point – going after obscure niches means you’ve got to put lots of feeder traffic sources together to make the finances work. This makes it hard to develop any kind of real relationship with your customer and in the end leads to the sleaze-and-squeeze … get rich quick business plan where you shake your new customer hard and hope for prechecked cross sales or selling your mailing list to pay the bills.
